Bonus payment for finding dead soldiers?

Does anybody have knowledge or evidence that after 1919 and in the 1920s British or French officials paid bonus (boni) to farmers or battlefield metal collectors for finding dead/ remains on the former battlefield. I have heard of British payment in Flanders of 10Francs for a Brit soldier, 5 Franc for a French soldier and 1 Franc for a German soldier. Also- is there anything known of cheating the officials by "selling " German remains with deliberately added British uniform equipment parts like buttons, badges etc in order to receive the higher British soldier bounty?

If any of my French colleagues here could translatetghis text in French language and maybe post it to make this question available to all French speaking forum users?

Quelqu'un a-t-il connaissance (ou une preuve) du fait, après 1919 et dans les années 1920 une allocation ait été versée, par des fonctionnaires Français ou Britanniques, aux agriculteurs ou aux ferrailleurs (pas encore collectionneurs) qui trouvaient des corps ou des restes sur l'ancien champ de bataille. J'ai entendu dire que les Britanniques auraient payé 10 Francs pour un soldat Brit, 5 Francs pour un soldat Français et 1 franc pour un soldat Allemand. Il y aurait même eu tricherie en «vendant» les restes de soldat Allemand comme Britannique après avoir ajouté des pièces d'uniformes, boutons, bages etc.. pour percevoir l'allocation plus élevée versée pour un soldat Britannique.

Excellent thank you again. I hope somebody will respond. I received this information from Flemish friends who heard the story from their Grandfathers, who roamed the battlefields in the 1920s.
