and welcome amongst us. I had the occasion to visit quite quickly the Monte Tomba battlefiel (museum an memorial) during a business trip in Pordenone.

Unhopefully, at that time I was not yet so much intersted in WW1.

What are the interestings books to read about those battlefields ?

I think I remember that the Monte Tomba Memorial included some old xeapons and equipments. Do you know if some Artillery Guns are shown, and if yes, do you think I could receive some pictures of them ?

I am collecting pictures of old WW1 guns that can still be seen in the world via a blog (http://canonspgmww1guns.canalblog.com/) , and showing them with a small description on my website http://www.passioncompassion1418.com/Ca ... Index.html (that particuliar part is still to be translated in english...).

hello valderola do know you the french fxb ( francois xavier bernard )who live in milano and write in italian military revue "milites" and his forum.I have the relation of fights of monte tomba by professor spillman son of general spillman commander of french division of " chasseurs alpins". I am writing a book on 107eme infanterie regiment who break austrian lines in pederobba in 10/1918. best regards

hello Martinez I read the review “milites”, but I do not know personally francois bernard xavier. I dress to cavaso of the tomba; some year it makes the association of makes you has restored a small monument dedicated to a died French captain on the mount tomba - if you want I can give the photos to you. I know also one person who collect old photo of cavaso: between they there e' one of military propaganda entitled “the cooperation franc-Italian on the piave” if you need to your book I can ask the authorization the use for that photo. when it will be ready the book that you are writing I would appreciate to buy some copies for my friends of the association: “armed of the piave”, “ass. alpine” “ass. infantery”

Ciao Valderoa 1970, e benvenuto, sono italiano e vivo vicino a Milano, circa un mese fa sono stato sul Monte Grappa e in visita al sacrario francese di Pederobba, sono un appassionato della Grande Guerra e in particolare del saliente di Verdun dove mi reco appena posso da circa 10 anni e dove ho molti amici ormai. Collezzino cartoline su Verdun e sui soldati francesi e tedeschi. Di nuovo benvenuto. Ciao Stefano

que les membres étrangers parlent leur propre langue, sauf s'il maitrisent le français.
