Hello
My grand father was italian
He was a soldier in the 37 Infantry Regiment and made the war on the Bainsizza plateau (now in Solvenia) and
after the Battle of Caporetto, he was captured and came in Klagenfurt (Austria) because he was prisionnier.
I am interested with all documents about this ; can you help me ?

About the 37th infantry regiment - it was part of the 'Ravenna' brigade.
'Ravenna' was part of the 49eme Division at the battle of Caporetto and in the 47eme and 68eme Divisions in the 11eme battle of the Isonzo on the Bainsizza, all part of XXIV corps and 2eme Army.
XXIV corps was in line at the Bainsizza at the time of the Battle of Caporetto.
