Vapeur POSIS

Hello,

In an old newspaper I found an report that the French owned steamship POSIS was sold and during June 1852 arrived at Istanbul for service Istanbul-Büyükdere. She is to be named as the COURIER DE BOSPORE. In 1853 it is reported that she was sold to Ottoman Bosporus ferry service company " Sirket-i Hayriye".

Although I have a very complete fleet list of that Ottoman company I couldn`t find any vessel that could be the POSIS. Also I couldn`t find any technical or historical details on the French side of history.

Does anyone ever heard about the POSIS?
