Quand je visitais le bout Pâques de champ que j'ai parlée à un homme local appelé Fab Laurent qui recherchait dans le domaine, je pense qu'il a habité dans Vimy. Il m'a donné un email address mais cela n'a pas fonctionné. Si n'importe qui sait M. Laurent peut ils svp m'aider à le trouver.
Il avait trouvé un insigne de chapeau de régiment d'Essex là ainsi je suis plutôt vif pour parler avec lui.

Hello everyone, I am glad to join this forum - I am usually to be found on the Great War Forum in England. My French is terrible of course!
Anyway, I visit Monchy le Preux quite often as my wife's Great Uncle (Essex Regiment) was killed in the small field with the electricity pylon just before 'The Mound' - please see here:

When I was visiting the field last Easter I talked to a local man named Fab Laurent who was searching in the field, I think he lived in Vimy. He gave me an email address but it did not work. If anyone knows M. Laurent please can they help me find him.
He had found an Essex Regiment cap badge there so I am rather keen to correspond more with him and share research etc.
