Bonsoir,

these 2 pécheurs (ALBERT PREMIER & PIEUSE PAYSANNE) are listed in the files at Vinceness for 02.07.1918, file 9222, Box 82.

In Lloyds War Losses there are 2 french sailing vessels No. 2139 and No. 2016 du Douarnenez listed as damaged by submarine.

In Thierry Le Roy "La Guerre Sous-Marine en Bretagne 1914 - 1918", in the list of vessels sunk at the end of the book, he has:

Fin juin: - Un pécheur de Douarnenez. 5 NM des tas de pois (Camaret), 2 morts.

Well, this submarine was U 105 (Kptlt. Friedrich Strackerjan), who on 02.07.1918 reported:

13.00h approached 2 small sailing vessels, also one airship in sight to the North
15.00h surfaced, immediately saw an fast approaching enemy periscope, fired his deck guns against this periscope and also "disabled" the two sailing vessels

So, these 2 french vessels were not sunk but damaged, but also there are 2 men dead on one of these vessels.
