Generally of the same type as ARDENT class but with diesel engines and no funnels except CHIFFONNE, ENGAGEANTE and MIGNONNE which had a dummy funnel.
DILIGENTE had a straight stem, others a clipper bow.
BOUFFONNE : 1916-18 Algerian Patrol Force ; October end, 1916 assisted the disabled RIGEL; unlisted in 1925.
CHIFFONNE : 1917-18 Atlantic Patrol Force ; sold to Rumania in 1920 and renamed LOCOTENENT LEPRI REMUS.
DILIGENTE : 1916-18 Tunisian Patrol Force ; assisted the disabled RIGEL ; scrapped in December 1946.
ENGAGEANTE : May 1918 with AMARANTE, made tests with Walser hydrophonic device ; unlisted 1944, sold for scrap in December 1946.
FRIPONNE : 1916-18 Tunisian Patrol Force ; assisted the disabled RIGEL ; 1920 sold to Rumania, rena-med LOCOTENENT-COMANDOR STIHI EUGEN.
IMPATIENTE : 1916-18 Tunisian Patrol Force ; 1920 sold to Rumania and renamed CAPITAN DUMITRES-CU C.
MIGNONNE : 1917-18 Atlantic Patrol Force ; 1920 sold to Rumania and renamed SUBLOCOTENENT GHICULESCU.
SURVEILLANTE : 1916-18 Algerian Patrol Force ; April 14th, 1917 assisted the trooper GANGE, disabled by mine ; May 15th, 1917 rammed and sank the Italian destroyer SCORPIONE ; condemned in 1938.
