The two lions are identical except that one lion looks to the left and the other lion looks to the right as tho they were were looking at one another, maybe.
The bridge is where John Sr. had another picture taken. It crosses the Arkansas River from the train station to the town of Salida,
then it is a short walk to Alpine Park and the two lions.
