Hello everyone,

Le dimanche 11 mars 1917, mon arrière-grand-père Henry Nichols est tué au combat en face de La Maisonette près du village de Biaches.
J'ai passé beaucoup de temps à rechercher et à visiter cette région, mais j'ai toujours voulu marcher sur le sol où mon arrière-grand-père se serait tenu et je me demandais si quelqu'un avait des conseils sur la marche sur le terrain.
J'espérais également élargir mes connaissances et mes recherches dans ce domaine et j'espérais demander si quelqu'un avait des informations pour moi qui pourraient m'aider dans mes recherches.
Je me demandais également si des fouilles ou découvertes archéologiques avaient été faites à proximité de cet endroit?
J'ai enfin voulu joindre quelques cartes que j'avais faites et qui pourraient être intéressantes.
English Translation:
On Sunday 11th March 1917, my Great Grandfather Henry Nichols was killed in action opposite La Maisonette close to the village of Biaches.
I have spent quite a large amount of time researching and visiting this area but I have always wanted to walk the ground where my Great Grandfather would have stood and I was wondering if anyone had any advice about field walking?
I was also hoping to expand my knowledge and research of this area and I was hoping to ask if anyone had any information for me that could help me in my research?
I was also wondering if any acheological digs or finds had been made close to this location?
I finally wanted to attach some maps which I have had made which may be of interest.
