Re: French Loss on 18 August 1914

Hello,
I am new to this forum and at this point I am very interested in the time between 1914 and 1918. I'm sorry for posting in Englisch here in a French forum, but my French is quite lousy ...
Yesterday I subscribed here, because of the following problem: researching the Air War in the Saar during the Great War I came across a local newspaper article dated 20 August 1914 stating that a French aircraft (3 men crew) was shot down on 18 August 1914 near Saarlouis, Germany. Unfortunately "The French Air Service War Chronology 1914-1918" doesn't list a loss on or around that date that would fit
Can any one please help me to identify the aircraft and/or the crew? Thanks a lot for any input.
Regards,
Stefan
