Can anyone tell me where I can get a list of the Memorials to the French soldiers who perished in the first world war?

Bonsoir Jacquot,
What do you call "memorials"?
There are tens of thousands monuments bearing the name of the KIA in France. In villages, towns, churchs, schools, stations. I think that a complete list does not exist and, unfortunatly, never will. But some "départements" (french administrative division) had begun to list them. If you could be more specific?
Cordialement

My great-uncle August Delphin Jacquot was killed at Beausejour Ferme one the first day of the 2nd battle of Champagne. I have all of his documentation but I am wondering if he is commemorated anywhere in France. Since his parents (my great-grandparents) were living in Canada his name is inscribed on a monument here. He was in the 26th RI.

Bonsoir,
A. D. Jacquot was born in Baume les Dames (Doubs), isn't ?
But I have not seen any monument 1914-1918 for this town on the site Memorial Genweb, only one for 1939-1945. -Sorry...
Bien à vous,
Achache.

Hi Irene,
Since I'm engaged with my girlfriend, I live now 40min by car from Baume-Les-Dames, if I have enough time next week I will go there and check the monument.
Cheers from France
Guillaume
