Foundation Company, Savannah GA

Little is known about Foundation Company, which appears to have been an agency of the French Government, with shipyards in Portland OR, Tacoma WA and Kearny NJ as well as in Savannah. The Savannah shipyard was located just upstream of downtown Savannah, where the port's facilities are today.
