Suite à une lecture passionnante sur les TOMMIES durant les vacances de Noël, je suis à la recherche de la composition de la 36ème DI de 1917 à 1918. Elle serait composée de Cherokees, Apaches et Mexicains.

C'est donc vers le 142nd Infantry que vous devez apparemment chercher.

Quelques éléments un peu plus précis, tirés de The American Indian in the Great War: Real and Imagined.
WWI and its Consequences: The Place of the American Indians de Diane Camurat (en ligne) :

"The 36th Division of the American Expeditionary Forces that arrived in France in July 1918 was composed of approximately 20,000 men of the Texas and Oklahoma National Guards and it was no surprise that some 600 American Indians served in this division. Half of them had already served in the Oklahoma National Guard before the war and they were especially well represented in the Company "E" of the 142d Infantry Regiment as well as in the 358th Infantry Regiment, both of which would later be widely publicized for the heroism of their Indian "warriors"."

Vous pouvez donc chercher également du côté de la 90th Division (pour le 358th Infantry).
