Hello,
I have traced the history of the landing craft NO. 410-VERA as follows:
.11.1917: T-410 Imperial Russian Navy-minesweeper- /Ru 17.03.1918: seized by German forces at Nikolaev 26.06.1918: officialy commissioned by Imperial German Navy 06.07.1918: entered service after trails .11.1918: decommissioned and laid up at Russud Shipyard, Nikolaev .03.1919: seized by Marine nationale and transferred to Odessa for service with French Army on river Danube as NO. 410 .11.1919: transferred to White Russian Navy and renamed VERA 17.11.1919: arrived at İstanbul from Sevastopol 1920: laid up at İstanbul under French Government control .08.1921: commissioned by French Army as transport 22.06.1922: offered for sale by French Ministere des Travaux Publiques at İstanbul 20.12.1922: left İstanbul for Marseille under French flag 10.04.1923: arrived at Marseille 27.01.1924: sold at Marseille for 212.000FF
Does anyone have ever heard what happened to her after the sale in 1924 ? I presume she was sold to breakers, but couldn`t find a confirmation yet.
Many thanks in advance
Jochen
