Hi all,
I recently read a file concerning the attacks on the Mort-Homme Hill, seen from the german side, in december 1916.
I would be very grateful if someone gave me some information, seen from the german side, about the attacks that took place between March and May 1916.
Any information from Book, web site, video or others media is convenient with me.
ps : I am only able to read French, English or Italian translation.
Thanks for your help
Best regards
Alain

Mort-Homme attacks in spring 1916
Re: Mort-Homme attacks in spring 1916
Hi Alain,
Pity you don't read German, a German friend of mine wrote several books on WW1. He wrote one on the war on the Mort Homme and another on the Côte 304.
All from German point of view.
See his website: www.weltkriegsbuch.de

I will have a look on your friend's website.
Does-it exist a french or english translation about both books he wrote ?
Perhaps I will have to learn German if i want to extend my sources.
Best regards.
Alain

Hi Alain, sorry for my late answer but I do not consult this forum every day. No, no translation is available. Indeed you will have to learn German...

Dear all,
Do not forget the translators on line: Google, Yahoo, etc...
Not perfect, but better than nothing.
Best regards,
Louis
