Hello everyone,
My French Algerian Grandfather was 43 in 1940 and was called up and served in Algeria with the 11e Regiment de Tirailleurs as a pay clerk.
He did not fight in France and when France capitulated in 1940 he left the Army and went back to being an accountant in Algeria.
Is he entitled to any World War Two medals for his service ? Sorry I do not know where else to post this message !
Thank you
Andre

Hello Andre,
This forum is about the WWI (1914-1918).
You can find one about WWII such ATF40 or batailles1939-1940.
Use google or another such as yahoo, bing and so on.
Best regards,
Christophe
