Thomas Preston Lockwood Aspirant
Veuillez pardonner mon intrusion, mais je dois rechercher les dossiers militaires d'un américain nommé Thomas Preston Lockwood. Mon français est très mauvais, ce qui rend la recherche de documents français difficile. Lockwood est né à St. Louis, Missouri, aux États-Unis, en 1891 et est décédé à New York en 1951. Il était boursier du Rhode et s'est porté volontaire à deux reprises auprès de l'American Field Service. Il a servi dans les Vosges lorsque la SSU 3 était rattachée à la 66e Div française. Une fois en 1915 et plus tard encore en 1916. Plus tard, il s'est porté volontaire avec la Légion étrangère et a été envoyé à l'école de formation d'artillerie à Fontainbleau. C'est tout ce que je sais de son service militaire français. Si quelqu'un pouvait enquêter sur ses dossiers pour moi ou m'aider à trouver les dossiers, je l'apprécierais grandement.

En effet, la section no 3 était à la disposition de la 66e Division d'Infanterie française.
