French Military Aviation Mission to Russia

My grandfather Marc Volokhoff was a russian officer seconded to the French Foreign Legion for the duration of the war. He was trained as a pilot and flew with Escadrille No:87. In May 1917 he was sent by AA Ignatieff the Russian Military Attache in Paris to join the French Military Aviation Mission to Russia and in November 1917 apparantly attended an aviation conference in Iassy in Roumania.

I have coma across the following reference: "La mission aéronautique française en Russie 1916-1918" David Waligora - Revue Pégase n° 72 de janvier 1994.

If anyone is able to find me a copy of this either as a pdf or a physical copy I would be greatly interested.

It is "épuisé", They were called by me and by phone, some months ago, for to know If I could give a PDF copy to "Putine" on the forum, and the answer was "NO!!" (clearly "NO"). Same if is out of stock, I haven't the right to give a PDF copy of this old magazine (1994). If a person wants this book magazine, he must request a PDF copy file by mail to them (It is normally free, I think).

On their web site is wrote that:

But I don't see links for PDF files [:bobrah:4]. So, You can to have a copy by them for free I imagine (This was told by them at the phone too).

(Yes my English is funny or strange, I know, but I don't speak English, you know [:bobrah:1] [:bobrah:6] I hope is clear a little).

just curious ... You said your grandfather was trained as a pilot. Did you know if he was trained in France? If so what were the places where he was trained ? I ask this question because I know about the aerial gunnery school in Cazaux (near Bordeaux) aka ETA Cazaux (école de tie aérien de Cazaux). Some (or many ?) russian pilots & gunners were trained over there.

Yes I have his Foreign Legion Records and it is written in there. I believe he attended 3 different schools. My mother has them and I will get the information later today and post it here. Martin
