But for DUPLEIX, I'm not really sure, UC 71 is a guess, but the time of her attack is a little bit to late ...

it was not U 55, I have copies from the KTB and this submarine was "just" on passage back to Germany, no attack.

the ATALANTE mentioned sunk on 27.11.1917 mentioned in that telegram in reality was the portugese TUNGUE, sunk by UB 51 with 2 dead, 103 survivors ...

the attacker was UC 22, time of attack 9 a.m. according to war diary.

One of the other two steamers most probably british CITY OF PARIS, 9191 grt, which reported an submarine from nearly the same position = 35°28‘N-18°03‘E
